Making skipping ropes

We experimented with using paper chains and plastic bags for making skipping ropes.

We thought that the plastic would be stronger and that the paper chain would not work because it would break

Sophia and Harry found that the plastic skipping rope worked well.

The paper chain skipping rope broke in places but some of it was strong enough to skip with. We had to get two big people from room 4 to skip with the paper chain because it was too heavy and we could not make it go high enough for it to go over our head.

 

 We decided that the paper chain  was to thin make a good skipping rope and the chains were to deep so we had to jump extra high.

The Plastic bag skipping rope worked really well.

Munching Monsters

We had great fun creating our munching monsters, and they are all very cool and super friendly.

HAPPY DAYS, BEACH DAYS AND SUMMER

We went to Long Bay beach and had a lovely playing on the playground and the beach.

We were hot and tired, but happy when we got back to school.

We all had a fantastic day.

Amazing Creations

Look at our Amazing creations we made during Buddy Class and Learning through Play

The Snake Cake

We read the  big book The Snake Cake and then we made ourselves our own snake cake.

Ingredients 

1. Biscuits 

2. Jam

3. Icing

4. M&Ms

First we spread jam over a biscuit and put another biscuit onto the jam. We each made two jam biscuits 

Then we joined the biscuits to make a long body by putting jam on one side and sticking them together 

We laid one down for the head.

Next we put icing over it's back and head

Then we added the M@Ms to make a face and decorate the body

We were VERY proud of our Snake Cakes

Then we ate our Snake Cake .... But some of us did not like it !!!
