Patterns

We are beginning to look at repeating patterns and the different things we can do with them.

Some of us sorted by colour alone

Some of us used two elements size and colour

 Kiara was very inventive she made squares using four blocks and then created a FIVE element pattern.

Lastly we made a pattern using ourselves can you work it out??

Animal enclosures

After our visit to the Zoo. We made an enclosure for an animal of our choice. We worked in groups of three and  we had to keep everybody  in the group happy .... testing !!!

Ask your child about their enclosure and the things that they put into them.

 

3D shapes

These were harder to make than the 2D shapes but some of us nailed them

Look at these great pyramids that we constructed, some of use even glued them together.

Geometry shapes

We made 2D and 3 D shapes with straws and tape

Easter Bunnies

We had a whole bunch of Easter Bunnies in Room three and they were very happy.

Another idea for a skipping rope!!!

Karina and Jennifer made a skipping rope out of Leggo !!!

will it work ????

They discovered that yes it did work well as a skipping rope but that the handles were no good. they hurt.

Paper Planes

We  made paper planes and then went out to try and fly them. It was great fun.
