Look at our Amazing creations we made during Buddy Class and Learning through Play

The Snake Cake

We read the  big book The Snake Cake and then we made ourselves our own snake cake.

Ingredients 

1. Biscuits 

2. Jam

3. Icing

4. M&Ms

First we spread jam over a biscuit and put another biscuit onto the jam. We each made two jam biscuits 

Then we joined the biscuits to make a long body by putting jam on one side and sticking them together 

We laid one down for the head.

Next we put icing over it's back and head

Then we added the M@Ms to make a face and decorate the body

We were VERY proud of our Snake Cakes

Then we ate our Snake Cake .... But some of us did not like it !!! 

Sunflowers Sunflowers

 We planted our seeds with the help of Debbie

Then we put them into a container so we could water them

Elliot was very proud of his sunflower

We had an exciting time last Friday planting Sunflower seeds which we are growing in our classroom.

Watch this space as we take care of our flowers and watch them grow.

Well done to Melanie, Athan and Seraphim for doing such an amazing job at the speech finals today.

Well done you all did an amazing job. Mrs Menzies and the whole of Room three were SUPER PROUD of you all.

Cross Country Stories

These are some of the amazing stories that we got after running cross country.

I felt scared because I thought I was going to loose.

Kayden wrote:

Yesterday it was cross country, I came fifth. I felt extremely happy. I ran fast I bet Cooper and so did Elliot.

Athan wrote:

CROSS COUNTRY

Yesterday at cross country I was not stopping running. I was extremely happy. When I got to the finish line I was happy that I was 19th.

                         CROSS COUNTRY

I was excited for Cross Country. When I got to school in a red T-shirt and black pants, we got ready for the race. Then we went to the field. Then we did the race. I was running fast. Kayden was in front of me. I came 15th and Kayden came 5th.

The Maths Fairy came to visit Room 3

The children were very excited to see what goodies she had in her little bag of tricks.

Fynn, Elliot and Seraphim all got to choose something from her bag as they answered her questions correctly.

Saba the creator

Saba created this all by herself during Developmental. 

I was impressed by the organisation and detail in her

Book Week Character Parade

On Tuesday we had our school Book Character Parade and all the children in Room three came to school looking Fabulous. We had Princesses, Super Heroes, Pirates, Fairy tale and Star Wars characters. It was great fun.

Our Zoo Trip:

We liked the Spider Monkey, but we did not see many, although two of them were fighting which was pretty interesting to see

We could not get over how big and slow this animal was. But we thought he was pretty cool.

 We had lots of fun at the zoo, and we walked and walked and walked.

This Cherval was chasing around some food on a stick that the keeper kept moving up high, down low, from side to side. The cat managed to get it a few times while we were watching.

It was funny seeing the Flamingo standing on one leg. We thought that it must get pretty tired standing there like that.

Squash with Manu

We tried really hard to throw the ball at the wall and hit it when it came back to us. It was not easy

Manu told us that the game was called Squash because the ball was squishy.

  

We learnt how to balance a ball on our racquet

and move around with it.
